We're holding a special all-day fundraiser for Donnington Doorstep tomorrow, on Saturday 8th April. This is a free event with a great lineup of musicians, including Nick Cope.
The fundraiser is to raise money for Donnington Doorstep Drop-In, which has had to cut back its opening times because of funding cuts by Oxfordshire County Council. It’s a free event, but you can help support the Drop-In by making a donation or by buying raffle tickets.
The event runs from 2 to 10 pm on Saturday 8th April at Donnington Community Centre, Townsend Square, Oxford OX4 4BB.
The festival features music, food, drink, a raffle, and children’s activities!
Nick Cope is playing at around 4 pm in the afternoon.
The full line-up, in approximate running order, is:

Beard Of Destiny
Country For Old Men
The String Project
Osprey
The music covers a range of genres: including folk, rock, country, blues, world, and classical fusion.
Campaigners for Doorstep Drop-In will be providing children’s activities and will also be selling delicious vegetarian and vegan food, tea, coffee, and herbal teas from 4 to 7 pm.
There is also a bar in an adjacent room that sells alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
