CIRCULAR

 

   

Sub:   Leave and other entitlement benefits to the JRF/SRF /MS / PhD scholars /M.Tech / Final year Dual degree students - Reg.

 

 

As per the MHRD letter NO.17-2/2014-TS-1 dated 18^th February 2015 and 1^st September  2015 we have implemented the revised rates of fellowship to MS / PhD scholars, M.Tech, / final year dual degree students.  The leave entitlement of the scholars who are receiving HTTA/HTRA is as follows:

 

1. All MS / PhD Scholars,  M.Tech / Final year Dual degree students are eligible for 8 (eight) days Casual Leave and 15 days vacation leave in an academic year.
2. Participation in any scientific event/ workshop in India or abroad will be treated as ‘Duty’.
3. The travel entitlement for participation in scientific events/ workshops in India will continue to be same as earlier, ie. 2^nd AC by rail.
4. Maternity Leave as per GOI instructions issued from time to time would be available to female candidates in all categories.

 

This new benefits will take effect from the date of implementation of the revised fellowship. (ie.  01/02/2015)
