Greetings!
Just wanted to share some good news from Ani Fran at Kopan Monastery:

“...Thank you for your kind thoughts and prayers you have directed towards the Kopan monks and nuns.  This is really extremely kind and generous and all of us are quite moved by this.  The good news is that the latest set of tests were done yesterday, gave the all clear, and we can go back to more relaxed, “normal” activities.  Although for the kids it was quite exciting for a while to be allowed to sleep in the gompa (with social distancing of course), most of the older ones were ready and happy to get back to their own rooms.
We feel very supported by your thoughts and action and will appreciate your help if needed in the future.  With many thanks for all of us here.”

Rinpoche and Khadro-la have been doing many pujas at Kopan during the pandemic.  Rinpoche starts offering pujas in the afternoon. Night time comes and Rinpoche continues the different pujas for all those suffering due to the pandemic, especially in India and Nepal. Every day it takes many hours.  Khadro la is also offering pujas in her place not far away.

Rejoicing in Lama Zopa Rinpoche Starting to Write the Prajnaparamita
Lama Zopa Rinpoche had been writing the 8,000 verse Prajnaparamita Sutra in pure gold for several years, but since 2011 Rinpoche hasn’t been able to write, as Rinpoche felt his handwriting was not stable enough, since manifesting a stroke that year.  Rinpoche has explained how important it is to write in one's best calligraphy, due to the incredibly precious text that one is writing out. Under Rinpoche’s guidance several students have been writing out the Prajnaparamita on archival quality rainbow paper including Ven. Tsering, who is now based at Kopan Monastery, and is writing out volumes from the 12,000 verse Prajnaparamita in pure gold full-time, as well as Jane Seidlitz in US, and Ven. Nina at Khachoe Ghakyil Ling Nunnery.

With gratitude,
