We hope you’re well and enjoying the cooler autumn temperature.  It feels like this year has moved so slowly but on the other hand, it’s already November!  The coronavirus is still with us and according to the newspapers, this prolonged effect is affecting peoples’ mental health.  If you are feeling this way, please join in any of our activities at Do Ngak Sung Juk, especially our virtual discussion group with Venerable Pemba, to learn ways of coping during this time.

HIS HOLINESS THE DALAI LAMA in Dharamsala continues to give teachings periodically.  LIVE teachings are being offered November 5-7 (Thursday, Friday, Saturday ) at lunchtime (12:30 - 1:30 p.m. in Japan / 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. in Dharamsala), followed by 30 minutes of pre-arranged questions.  The teachings will be on Nagarjuna’s Commentary on Bodhicitta.  
On Friday, November 13 His Holiness will launch the book Science and Philosophy in the Indian Buddhist Classics, Volume 2: The Mind.  There will be brief comments from distinguished guests.  Please check on timing closer to the date.
On Thursday, November 19 His Holiness will engage in a dialogue as part of the Happiness & Its Causes 2020 Conference in Australia from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. in Japan / 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. in Dharamsala 
On Wednesday, November 25 His Holiness will give a talk on Buddhism, Science and Compassion from 1:30 - 2:30 p.m. in Japan / 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. in Dharmsala.
