Dear Friends,
We hope this e-mail finds you well.  The final month of 2020 is here!  Many people are looking forward to 2021 and a better year - how about you?   If you’re feeling the stress and strains and having problems coping, please join one of Do Ngak Sung Juk’s activities.  Venerable Pemba helps keep us on track with his monthly virtual teachings.  He LOVES questions, personal ones, too, and is here to help us in whatever way he can.  We meet through Skype so it’s very convenient.
Tibetan Buddhists in the Gelugpa tradition will celebrate Lama Tsong Khapa’s parinirvana on Thursday, December 10.  DNSJ plans to read the Sanghata Sutra that day and below I’ll include other practices suggested by Kyabje Lama Zopa Rinpoche.

HIS HOLINESS THE DALAI LAMA in Dharamsala continues to give teachings periodically.  The teachings scheduled from December 3-5 have been postponed.
On Wednesday, December 9, His Holiness will engage in a conversational program on The Necessity of Compassion for the Survival of Humanity with Ms. Melani Walton of the Rob and Melani Walton Foundation, and Dr. Sanjay Gupta, Chief Medical Correspondent of CNN, organized by Emory University's Center for Contemplative Science and Compassion-Based Ethics from 9 am to 10 am (Indian Standard Time) / 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. in Japan 
On Thursday, December 10, Lama Tsong Khapa Day, will be a teaching on Tsongkhapa's In Praise of Dependent Origination (tendrel toepa) and Concise Stages for the Path to Enlightenment (lamrim dudon) from 9 am to 10 am (Indian Standard Time) / 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. in Japan
On Tuesday, December 15, will be a general talk on Education followed by a question and answer session as part of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay's Techfest Online Lecture Series from 9 am to 10 am (Indian Standard Time) / 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. in Japan
