Hello from Do Ngak Sung Juk!  Just passing on an e-mail about a recording by His Holiness the Dalai if anyone is interested.
And don’t forget, tomorrow, Friday, 9/4, His Holiness the Dalai Lama will begin 3 days of teaching.  Each teaching lasts 1 hour followed by 30 minutes of pre-arranged questions, starting at 12:30 p.m. Japan time.
Stay well!

Konnichiwa,
I hope this mail finds you safe and well, amidst this very strange time.

Today I am writing with regards to His Holiness The Dalai Lama's precious album Inner World. I wanted to share the news that we now have the opportunity to enjoy a physical version of this precious work, a double CD and a 28-page booklet which explains the meaning behind the mantras and their benefits, written by Venerable Robina Courtin.

So we can ensure this work reaches and helps as many people as possible, please join me in sharing this with your friends, family and social media channels. It has always been His Holiness' wish to benefit 'many, many, many people' and we are so hoping to fulfill that.

If you haven't yet had the opportunity to listen to the album, please feel free to do so on one of the digital options here. The album is a combination of especially recorded mantras and messages by His Holiness, set to a backdrop of music. The mantras were all specifically chosen to support us in our everyday lives, able to change our energy just like the effects of medicine and meditation. There are mantras for healing, wisdom, protection and courage for example.

His Holiness has always envisioned this work would benefit 'many, many, many' people. He also described music as having 'the potential to transcend our differences and that it can return us to our true nature of warm-heartedness.' Here is a quick extract of a conversation I had with His Holiness, where he explains why he did this work.

Net proceeds from the sales of “Inner World” will go to His Holiness' chosen programs: Social, Emotional and Ethical Learning (SEE Learning), an international education program and part of an academic collaboration between Emory University and His Holiness; and Mind & Life Institute, which brings science & contemplative wisdom together to better understand the mind & create positive change in the world.

With warm wishes,
