Update from Donesky's

It has been five months since many of you have heard from us.  I have recently received several emails asking about what is going on in our lives, so I thought it would be best to update everyone.  We have been living/camping in our home in Cleveland, same address as pre Peru.  We have unpacked part of what we had packed away when we left.  To date, after much discussion and prayer about our involvement in overseas missions, we have not felt at peace about moving forward with any of the mission opportunities that we have heard about, so we have not moved ahead.

We have been blessed with a consulting contract with my past employer, McKee Foods, so I am working with one of their plants doing much the same kind of work I did before we left.  I am enjoying the work, the people, and the flexibility that the consulting arrangement offers.

In the middle of our indecision about what we were doing, Andrew felt lead to go to boarding school.  This has brought about a major change in family dynamics.  He is enjoying his time at Fountainview Academy in British Columbia, Canada.  Fountainview is a coed Christian high school with a great work/study program.  The school is known for their choir and orchestra.  As part of their school program, they have produced several religious music DVDs with good music and gorgeous scenery.  Their DVDs can be found at http://store.fountainview.ca/.

Christina is enjoying her new role of being an only child.  She continues to home school and is enjoying having her dogs back.

As I keep watching the news, I am convinced that things on earth are not right.  I believe that major change is the only option.  In reading the Good Book, it talks about changes that are coming.  Friends, I would encourage you to invest some time in studying for yourself what is coming.
