My dad has been trying to do the impossible (again). He has been at language school for six weeks trying to get six months of learning done. Needless to say we are ready for him to come home!
There has been a small hindrance since we came to Peru. The DGAC (FAA equivalent) requires all pilots to speak some Spanish. My dad did not take the test when he got his license here, but praise God he can fly without taking it. He has a restriction of having to fly with a translator. We fly small aircraft, and that extra room sometimes means a lot. On the way back home he is stopping in Lima to try and pass that test. We would ask your prayers that he will be able to get the restriction lifted so we can use the equipment that God has provided us to its fullest. The test will be at around 11:00 AM EST on Friday (Remember, we have no Daylight Savings Time).
Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

I am, a confusion of cultures. I think this is good, but sometimes I despair of understanding others.
I am, and Island, and a United Nations. Who can recognize either in me except God!
