I am a trustee of FMCH since 2016. I humbly request you to support this NGO in any small way possible.

Since its inception in 2006, the Foundation for Mother and Child Health (FMCH) has worked in Mumbai’s
vulnerable communities to eradicate malnutrition and promote mother and child health through community
intervention, 1:1 counseling, home visits, group programs and other innovative projects. FMCH has also,
through its proprietary database, been a leader in collecting, analyzing and disseminating information
to make immediate and long term changes with regard to mother and child health in government
institutions, hospitals and schools.

Starting with a budget of less than 15 Lacs (US$20,000) and working in a single community, today FMCH
has grown to more than a Rs 2 Crore budget (US$360,000) with projects in many more communities reaching
thousands of beneficiaries, strategic partnerships with NGOs, the State Government and other key
stakeholders and is a recognized leader for its First 1000 Days program.

FMCH is entirely funded through donations. The budget is big but so is the work being done!

The annual Daan Utsav Initiative October 2-8 is an excellent way for FMCH to raise money. As a member
of FMCH’s Board of Directors, I am asking that you help FMCH achieve their goals through a contribution
during this festival of giving initiative.

ideas and fund uncovered administrative costs helping to ensure that each child under FMCH’s umbrella
