Is there a way to make PDFs generated so that they open at 100% zoom
by default?

They seem to open in "one page at a time" mode which is around 50% and
too zoomed out for most purposes.

I don't think the zoom rate is specified within the PDF - all the
readers I use seem to default to whatever zoom rate I had last (usually
"fit to page width"). I suspect overriding that default, even if it is
possible, would be extremely annoying for users.

It is possible to set an initial view intrinsic to a PDF document, you
just don't see it set that often.

I believe CPDF may have this capability, but it hasn't been tied back
into the DOMPDF adapter so there's no way to access it. If you'd like
to see this included in a future release go ahead and post a feature
request and we'll look into it.

This is possible to specify open parameters :
http://partners.adobe.com/public/developer/en/acrobat/PDFOpenParameters.pdf#page=5
(note that the page number and other parameters can be set in the
URL).
I think this would not be very difficult to implement this in DOMPDF.

Sorry, I read this page too fast (the deals only with parameters in
the url and the command line parameters). Here are the options to
write in the PDF :
