Hi,

I am having some problems with dominator on a site that sets document.location, effectively redirecting me. When it happens, I can see that a red alert is triggered, but immediately after that, the browser is sent elsewhere and the alert/log is lost. How can I pause or somehow retain the alert message?

Hi Martin,
that's right, there's the log persistence problem in redirections.

There's an hack you can actually use until the new version will come:

1. go to the DOMinator profile.
(Linux)
/home/user/.mozilla/firefox/XXX.theProfileyouchose/
(windows)
%APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\

2. enter the DOMinator extension directory
extensions/domin...@mindedsecurity.com/

3. replace
js/jsInject_obj_debug.js

with:
http://dominator.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/js/jsInject_obj_debug.js

I simply added a
if(!confirm("location assigment on taitned val\n want to proceed?"))
return;

in location setters.

Thanks for the request!

Cheers,
Stefano
