Dear friends!!
INVITE: El Barrio, Battersea Square, 7pm 22 July 2009 (If you can't come, watch it at home on ITV4!!)
The time is finally upon us! Yes folks, thats right, Take A Seat will finally hit the silver screen in the UK on the 22nd July, on ITV4 at 8pm. As part of the ITV's coverage of the Tour de France, i can only assume they have decided to make those skinny little atheletes look even faster by slotting 45 minutes of me on the lumbering tank of Achilles in the middle of the programming! Still, I am confident that through nifty tricks in the two feverishly active cutting rooms at Ginger TV, my journey will be anything but slow. "How do you fit over two years into 45 minutes??" I hear you ask. Well, come and find out! Please find an invite attched to come and join Achilles and I and lots of friends at El Barrio in BAttersea Square, a suitably latin joint to watch this journey down the Americas from!
It would be fantastic to see as many of you as possible. It will in some cases be the first opportunity I will have to see some of you sicne my return!!
Hopefully see you then! Lastly, I understand that many of you across the pond will be unable to make it! I include you never the less to make sure you know you're welcome and will keep you posted as to the documentary release abroad!
