Kelly Lane, our century ride and the road ahead!

Dear friends!

We are well over half way on our journey across the United States! We have recently passed into Minnesota, which shrugs off the desert prairies and fields of the midwest and cloaks itself in deciduous greenery that suddenly makes us feel we are making progress! 

We are leaving again this morning, having dropped the phenomenally strong Kelly Lane off after he completed 550 miles on the bike and one century day!! To see Kelly on the bike g to this youtube link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=byIC5A70zTc. 

Our next rider Rachel who joins us this morning at the Walker Arts Centre here in Minneapolis is 31 with Cerebral Palsy, and despite the fact that she communicates non-verbally with a word sheet, she is bursting with enthusiasm to get under way!!
