Dear friends,
STOP PRESS: WWW.TAKEASEAT.ORG EXPOSED!
Its been a very long time since I have sent an email to the host of contacts I have, but the time has come, I thought, due to what can only be called the first legal pornographic material to come out of the www.takeaseat.org project. Thanks to my good friends at Cycling Plus, the UK's best cycling magazine, I have now been exposed (along with my then companion Adam) for what I truly am. I'm not sure who took the photo. The Salar is over 200km of baron salt flats, I thought I might have noticed the paparazzi. Please see the attached photo and if you're interested in the entire article, please purchase Cycling Plus - no percentage in it for me!
Other news:
- The Documentary is still lacking a Commission (a purchaser e.g. Discovery Channel) but I am working hard to spread the message far and wide
- Book is being pieced together ready to wet the appetites of publishers
- A lecture series about my journey is taking place in the UK and wherever else you might like (two having already taken place to packed houses!). Please do get in touch if you're interested!
What can sometimes be termed "normality" here in Oldham is an interesting business. A million times more difficult than the daily pedal south, one is pulled in a myriad of directions....council tax.....dentist.....insurance.....insulation...I don't know how you all do it, I am learning very slowly and plan to escape whenever possible!
