Dear friends,
I know, I've been pestering you a lot recently, sorry about that, especially to those of you that cannot see the documentary due to living out of the UK! I promise this will be the last time for a bit.
THANK YOU!! Without sending an email to my entire mailing list, I am sure to leave soemone out when i say a big THANK YOU to all those that came to the launch party or watched the documentary or sent me emails since telling me how much they enjoyed it!! There are also a number of yout hat have donated to my chosen charity Hope and Homes for Children after watching the doc!! It means so much to me to have had such a positive response and I will always be grateful for the support you have shown.
DO YOU WANT MORE?? One point comes up again and again in the emails I recieve, and that is the length of the programme. It seems that there are many of you that felt slightly cheated, like you had seen a trailer for a longer series that hasn't been made. Well I guess thats not so far from the truth, and with lots of unseen footage in a safe box and your thirst for more, there is one thing you could do to increase the likelihood of something else coming out of this. That is.......contact the ITV to tell them!! I have included their contact details below....
viewers...@itv.com ITV plc
200 Gray's Inn Road,
London
WC1X 8HF
Tel: 0844 88 14150 (Calls cost 5p per minute from a BT landline. Calls from other networks may be higher, and from mobiles will be considerably more)
Of course, I need not mention, that if you didn't like it, you can of course get in touch with ITV too, but I wouldn't be so keen on that!
FAQs Lastly, there are a few other quieries that have come up in the last week, and I shall list the answers below for anyone interested!
- Yes, I am writing a book, I have signed a contract with Mainstream, and the book is due to be published in Spring 2010. The book will, needless to say, fill in some of the gaps that 46 minutes of film were unable to cover....
- The bike I rode on was a Thorn (model: Raven Discovery), the manufacturers of which are based down in Sommerset
- Do I have more adventures planned? Yup!! lots bouncing around my otherwise fairly empty head!! Watch this space!!
Please do keep in touch and again, Thank you so much for all your support!
