If you do not know about HTML and all the codes that actually
constitute the creation of a website it can be hard to know if your
website is built the right way. But there are some signs that will
tell you if you have a well developed website;
The first thing you need to look for is cross browser issues. When you
look at your website you need to look at it from at least 3 different
perspectives; these perspective are the 3 main browser that are most
used on the web;
1. Internet Explorer 2. Firefox 3. Safari
It is imperative that you take the time to look at your website
through these browsers. In most cases you will find slight differences
and this is only normal. Every browser has a different way to render
your pages. But you still have to check your website against those
browsers for noticeable differences.
The next factor that will help you know if your website is well
designed is the loading time of your pages. Slow website happen
because the graphics used on them are not optimized for the web and as
a result your website will take a long time to load.
Next, you should have a top navigation as well as a bottom navigation,
and if possible either one should be made in simple links (this will
be a great help with search engines). There are many other features
that can tell you how well a website was designed, for these are the
most important of all.
