The wildlife guy who took the momma skunk and her babies is licensed in my state. His entire job is getting invading wild life out of buildings. He told me some very interesting stories! Glad mine was what it was rather than some of the other calls he's had! A herd of raccoons in the attic of an elderly couple, a badger in the basement of another. Lots of bat stories. I did have to pay him $250 but I couldn't have a skunk population here. Within a very few years there would be more of them and they'd take over. In addition to the people, I have dogs, cats, chickens, and horses.
