phplayersmenu.php & PHP5.x

Hello,

In the past I used phplayersmenu.php a lot. A lot easier to generate
the right code for dommenu_items.js.
Since I upgraded to php5.2.1 this is not working anymore. I only get a
blank screen, no code...
Downgrading to php4.x and the page is working again.

People out there who have the same issue? (and may have a solution for
this?)
