AirPlay 2 should allow compensation for the delay; video playback is delayed by the sending device to sync with the audio output at the speaker. I believe that AirPlay 2 provides timing data to the sending device.
Sometimes when you stream on Netflix, you may come across some problems. Netflix audio out of sync is one of the common problems. If you have no idea how to fix this issue, this post got you covered. We will offer the 7 workable fixes for you.
Netflix is one of the most popular streaming platforms for binge-watching movies and TV shows. There is some issue like Netflix audio out of sync. You may ask why is my Netflix audio out of sync and how to fix it? The following part covers some practicable fixes for you.
Netflix requires a minimum streaming speed of 3 Mbps (megabits per second) for streaming Standard Definition (SD) content on Netflix. High Definition (HD) and Ultra-High Definition (UHD or 4K) videos require at least 5 Mbps to 25 Mbps.
To log in to Netflix, use a safe, reliable, and fast browser. It will allow you to watch videos without hassles or interruptions. A speedy browser provides a great experience concerning screen quality and audio quality. Try using a different browser to check if the problem is fixed.
HD streaming will consume a lot of bandwidth. If you do not have enough bandwidth, you will experience the Netflix app audio out of sync problem. This issue has a simple solution: you just need to turn off the HD streaming.
To disable HD streaming, you need to launch the Netflix app and go to your profile on the top right corner of the screen. Next, click on Account and open the Profile and Parental Control Section. Click on Playback Settings. Along with that, select Medium Quality and save.
If you experience this issue on your Samsung TV, you must adjust the audio to the appropriate settings. To fix this issue, go to settings and open Sound, and select Expert Settings. In the Expert Settings, click on Digital Output Audio Delay. Then check if the issue is fixed.
If you stream on Apple TV, try changing the audio setting of your TV to fix this problem. If your audio on Apple TV is not working properly, troubleshoot the device connections. You can also disable Dolby Digital on your Apple TV to fix it.
UPDATE!: My new LG G2 77" OLED set is a smart tv that is naturally capable of downloading tons of apps. I decided to just download the Xfinity Stream tv channel app and now I'm directly watching all my Xfinity channels (bypassing the ROKU Ultra box) and there is no more audio sync issue!
I just want to remind everyone else (as I did earlier in my original post) that if you have a Smart TV you can download the Xfinity app directly to your set, and you won't have the audio lag. This bypasses the ROKU box . . . not an ideal solution, but it does work. It needs to be said . . . EVERY other streaming service works perfectly on ROKU . . . except Xfinity. It's not Roku folks . . . it's Xfinity!
It's clear to me Xfinity is treating this issue with little more than an honorable ignorance. They are "claiming" to be working on this issue . . . they are NOT! I'll soon be going to FUBO Streaming. It's cheaper with even more really good popular channels and works perfectly on ROKU!
@tnamouz @AnkerSupport I am experiencing the same issue as the posters above. I received my SoundBuds yesterday and they work flawlessly on my phone (Samsung s9) for music, gaming and video. I tried them today with my MacBook Pro and noticed that the sound was about 2 seconds ahead of the video playback in Youtube. I tried deleting the Bluetooth profile, resetting the headphones and refreshing the page a number of times but I continue to have the sync issue. The work-arounds listed above have not worked for me. I have other Bluetooth headsets that have worked fine with my MacBook. Is there a fix for this issue yet or should I reach out for a replacement pair?
I got my Anker Slim + yesterday and have found the same problem. The video lags behind the audio by a few seconds. The lag happens when I use my macbook pro on several websites. However, there is no lag between audio and video when I use my phone ( Moto G4). I have tried deleting the bluetooth profile from my macbook as some of you suggested but it did not fix the problem.
I open Netflix or whatever, press play, The audio starts whilst the video stays frozen, and then the video starts but theres a 2-3 second delay between the audio playing and the video starting which continues throughout. Same issue on both my iphone 7 and ipad mini. Netflix, Prime video, Youtube all behave the same.
I just got the Soundbuds Slim + because my old soundbuds broke. My old ones worked fine on my Mac but the new ones have they same video delay issue. I took me a while to find this forum, because usually the audio is delayed not the video with bluetooth headphones. It works fine on my ipad though.

On OSX the headphones use the SBC codec by default. I tried installing a Bluetooth Explorer app and forcing aptX but it would always fall back to SBC. I was able to get it to use AAC, but that showed no noticeable improvement.
Bonus feedback: I tried searching in the thread for information about these bluetooth profiles, but for some ungodly reason this website has decided to hijack the [CtrlCmd + f] shortcut to launch some custom UI jank. This is not helpful, it is user interference.
