Unable to install Dokan driver on Windows 7 32-bit version

Hi everyone,

I just would like to know if you are tracking a Windows 7 issue.

Description:
Unable to install Dokan driver on Windows 7 32-bit version

Preconditions:
1 - Dokan is not installed
2 - Copy dokan.sys under \Windows\system32\drivers
3 - Copy dokan.dll under \Windows\system32
4 - Place dokanctl.exe and mounter.exe in the same folder.

Steps:
1 - Open a cmd.exe as Administrator
2 - Run “dokanctl.exe /i d” to install driver.
3 - Run “dokanctl.exe /i s” to install service.

Actual Result:
2 - Driver install FAILED!
3 - Service install OK!

Expected Result:
2 - Driver install OK!
3 - Service install OK!

Notes:
Someone know how to install driver by another way? Doing it Manual?
Could you shared the steps to do it?
Waiting for a reply.

Note2:
The ISSUE is not reproducible on VISTA 32bits and XP 32bits, it just
FAIL on 7 32bits

Tested with Dokan library 0.5.3

I think there is confusion in the bug.
All versions of Dokan SSHFS doesn't officially support 64 bit OS.
Older Dokan library doesn't support Windows7.
Dokan 0.4.1.1.236 doesn't support Windows7.

Dokan library 0.5.3 should work on Windows7. Could you uninstall Dokan library,
restart your computer, and install it again?

Hi Hiroki,

I tried this way:

Uninstall Dokan and Restart Windows
Install Dokan Driver again
And the same error, unable to to install it

When I try to install it via Doken Inataller a got the message:

Unable to Open to Write the dokan.sys into system32\drivers but I ham
running it as Administrator
