Hi,

I published latest trunk of dojango-datable 0.5 version here:

dojango-datable is a project, which lets the programmer to declare, render and filter Dojo DataGrids using data provided by Django querysets.

This version includes many improvements, like:
  • dynamic filtering for strings, dates and date ranges
  • XLS and CSV export improvements
  • export of filtered data
  • more unittests
  • demo app
  • translations
As the demo application is included (and examples say more than documentation), I therefore encourage you all to try out this small app.

Patches welcome :-)

Hi Michal,

that is awesome. I think this will be useful for many dojango users.

Did you already had a look into the DGrid? https://github.com/SitePen/dgrid.
It is the rewritten version of Dojo's DataGrid and I assume this will
become the next default grid within Dojo soon.

Regards, Tobias

Hi,

I'm sure there are some other pretty interesting projects out there; I am also sure, that when the new version comes out my small library should be easy to port to it. Right now I rather need something stable, tested and documented for my project - being on the bleeding edge when it comes to Dojo functionality showed up to be sometimes very hard - I am not really a JavaScript programmer.
