street seeping and bins on Thursday

I received a "cart set out requirement" warning on one of my bins yesterday from the City of Berkeley.  On the even side of Dohr Street, this is a dilemma since our street sweeping once a month is the same day as our bin day.

I sent an email to the City of Berkeley about this dilemma and got a call back today.

Not to worry.  The City of Berkeley is on top of this and the person who called is going to call our 3 truck systems and remind them that residents are allowed to put our bins up on the raised strip by the street on street sweeping day. 

Please ignore the colorful warning you may have received yesterday.  All is good.  We do not have to sacrifice street sweeping for correct bin placement.
