Rstudio editor is the best I found so far. It has plots window, console and editor all custom split in one screen that I found incredibly useful. All the historical plots windows are neatly organised and very easy to do a comparison by flipping through it. Historical commands are saved and easy to execute.

I use Tinn-R because it lets me step through my code, orjust send bits of it to the R window, which I findincredibly useful. The ability to highlight a few lines andhit send just meshes well with my workflow habits. I'd loveto find a similar tool for Python (I'm sure someone willtell me what it is). However the NPPtoR link looks veryinteresting and I will have to try that.

batchfiles contains batch (.bat) and javascript (.hta and .js) files useful in conjuction with R and R packages on Microsoft Windows. There is no formal installation, each consists of a single file and is independent of the others so just place any or all of them anywhere in your Windows path and you will be able to access them in any Windows console session.

In the screenshot i sent before, i ran that command but no success.

The editor does start (it shows up in the task manager) but without any visual thing, it crashes.

Same when i run the mgcb editor from the start menu.

Also when I start my game the something happens and the screen goes black or the PC completely dies. I think I ruled out the gpu because it works perfectly when running at maximum power with demanding games like the Witcher 3. (My scene that crashes it is just some simple cubes&capsules with a player controller)

It is sad and truly unbelievable that these productivity crushing bugs are completely ignored while Unity Technologies prances around with all sorts of flashing marketing and sales and pushing sizzle and wow features when nearly everyone I know that has abandoned and moved on from Unity (triple AAA developers included) have done so because core development grinds to a halt under bugs and broken scenes. The pro devs literally budget out thousands of hours to push through the bugs and broken pieces to get a game out while the smaller devs just get crushed waiting to do simple things like import their assets. It is sad and demoralizing to continue checking in and see there is virtually nothing to be done. Just find another tool or put up with it.

Now, that error relates to something went wrong within the Editor layout, so almost everyone says deleting the file located at: \Library\CurrentLayout-default.dwlt or hitting Layout/Revert to factory settings in the Unity editor will solve the issue.

I am running into the same issue with a similar monitor set-up. I can snap editor Windows like Details and Content Browser using windows key + arrow key but some pop-ups like FBX importer are stuck off-screen.

In Editor preferences, specify to open in the Window in the Main Window. From there it will disappear like before if you drag it to the monitor it was previously appearing off the right of. However if you undock it first in the main window (just by dragging its tab downwards), then you can drag it over ok. I have no issues dragging it from the docked position to my left hand monitor though.

Elevate your efficiency. Let Copilot and Visual Studio 2022 help you generate and refactor code, identify bugs and resolutions, optimize performance, and get context specific help throughout your coding workflow.

The Visual Studio IDE is a creative launching pad that you can use to edit, debug, and build code, and then publish an app. Over and above the standard editor and debugger that most IDEs provide, Visual Studio includes compilers, code completion tools, graphical designers, and many more features to enhance the software development process.

Visual Studio Code is a lightweight but powerful source code editor which runs on your desktop and is available for Windows, macOS and Linux. It comes with built-in support for JavaScript, TypeScript and Node.js and has a rich ecosystem of extensions for other languages and runtimes (such as C++, C#, Java, Python, PHP, Go, .NET).

Heeee, I missed that they fixed that at some point: that you can detach the Track Editor in Flex Pitch mode! I have continued working in "awkward mode" (enlarging the regions, creating different screensets, etc.) even though I didn't need to. Thanks, Indy.

OK, the issue is that you can have only one Track editor detached, where when working with harmonies it would be so nice if you could have all voices (tracks) open in separate editor windows, but you can only tear off/have open one track editor at the time. The tearing off didn't work for me because I already had one window open, but I didn't realize that, as it was hidden behind the main window.
