The Council is in the process of preparing a draft of City Plan 2015 to replace the current Planning Scheme.
The have a web page with some information available about the process and timeline for the Plan's preparation and approval.
They have advised that there will be a very limited opportunity for people to attend forums to learn more about the:
Economic Development strategy, Land Availability Plan and the City Plan 2015
To attend one of these forums you have to book a (free) ticket. Incredible!
This is how you stifle community discussion when you are proposing to do something that will not look good if there is full public scrutiny.
