Let's get started on the next book. I don't remember ... did we pick on when we all met at Mary's house?

If not, here are some ideas .... if you like one, say so. Or you can suggest one, too.  (Sarah said that Jen recommended this first one. I'm all for it!)

The Ocean at the End of the Lane, by Neil Gaiman:

The Last Runaway, by Tracy Chevalier (she always writes good historical page-turners):

Y, by Majorie Celona:

For later this year -- more of a "winter" book in my opinion.

Between Shades of Gray (my friend Janel reads nearly 100 books a year, and this was her favorite last year):

These all sound so good, as does Callie's suggestion! I'm torn!

Okay, let's start with The Ocean at the End of the Lane, and then we'll read LOVE, DISHONOR, MARRY, DIE; CHERISH, PERISH.

I have to say, I don't know if I'm smart enough to read an entire novel in verse, but will try!

So, start reading, ladies.

I finished Neil Gaiman's book. Interesting and a quick read.  I am about to begin another on the list.
I think it is my turn to host, but we might not be here long.
we are trying to rent.

Catherine, you can borrow my book. I haven't read it yet, but I'm in the middle of another one and you can probably finish it really fast. Do you want to stop by sometime this weekend and pick it up?

Sarah, that would be great. I've been reading a lot lately. Let's try for sometime on Sunday.

Jennifer, if you want to hostess, that would be great. I can do it, too, if needed. Hope you get a renter!
