Ladies, i may need to bow out this time. I am recovering from bronchitis which had thoroughly kicked my ass (no work this week). I hate to miss it but I'm not totally better and after i told Dave, "i feel like I'm in a documentary about me," i don't think he is keen on me driving again until I'm well...i hate it when i lose my ability to maintain an inner monologue. Will you forgive me?! It's a shame that i won't be coming because i was totally going to bring a malaria platter...xo

I am making roasted red pepper soup, and I bought some hummus and crackers at Trader Joe's. And, of course, some wine!

Not sure if you're planning to bring your kiddos tonight -- they are totally welcome! But I wanted to let you know that both Alice and Henry have little colds. Neither is running a fever, but they both have runny noses and Alice is coughing. Anyway, thought I'd give you fair warning.

Chris will be here wrangling the kids, but he also read the book so he might join our discussion too!
