Tomorrow (Sunday) night at 8 oclock, Dog Eared Books is ever so proud
to present the official book release party for Why Aren't You Smiling?
a slightly dyspeptic romp through the queer fringes of the 1970s New
Age movement by Alvin Orloff. It's been called "swell," "hilariously
satiric," and "endearingly funny" by - respectively - Daniel Handler,
Kevin Killian, and K.M. Soehnlein. In addition to Orloff, the night
features readings by local superstars Larry-Bob Roberts (author of The
International Homosexual Conspiracy) and Ali Liebegott (author of
Beautifully Worthless and The IHOP Papers). This is not a night you'll
