NYRB and news from a sister store!

Hello dear Dog Eared email list-ers!
We just wanted to chime in for a moment here to remind you that our
NYRB Salon (hosted and curated by local author Peter Orner, who's
novel Shame and Love and Shame was one of our very favorites of 2011)
will be returning in just a few short weeks, on Sunday January 28th.
We'll be discussing The World As I Found It by Bruce Duffy and the
NYRB translation of Pinocchio by Carlo Collodi. Keep in mind The World
As I Found It is on the hefty side, so if you haven't started already
you should swing by for your copy asap! Wether you've read all or any
of both titles, these discussions have been an informative hoot!

In other news, if you haven't checked out our new sister store Alley
Cat Books at 24th and Treat it is most certainly worthy of your time
and attention! In the future Alley Cat will likely be home to more
events than Dog Eared so if you are a fan of activities here we would
