Next Sunday night at 8 at Dog Eared Books (9/18) we are proud to
announce will be the first in a new NYRB Salon. Curated by local
author Peter Orner, The NYRB Salon will be meeting monthly to discuss
various titles of the NYRB catalogue. As long time fans of both Orner
and the NYRB series, we are absolutely tickled pink to be able to
host. For the first meeting we'll be discussing Stoner by John
Williams, The Summer Book by Tove Jansson, and The Lord Chandos Letter
by Hugo von Hoffmennsthal. All titles are currently out and on display
here and the store if you'd like to come by and pick up your copies to
be prepared, but remember this is not a book club so there is no need
to be intimidated away if you haven't read all (or any!) of the
titles. This night is guaranteed to be a stimulating and enlightening
evening!
