I use TeamViewer to help friends and family that are remotely located. I have setup remote access on all of the PCs. Lately two of the systems require the user to confirm the connection. How in the heck do I turn this off? Often I'm connecting to there system when they are either sleeping or away from the system thus I NEVER want to see the confirmation request on their system.

I checked the Access Control on the remotes systems and it is set to Full Access. I also checked the Access Control Details and all options are set to Allowed.

AH!!! I found a solution that worked for me. The problem was on MY pc and not the remote PC. As you suggested, changing the Advanced settings for connections to this computer to Full Access. It was set to Automatic, I have no idea why it was changed or if it had worked with that setting in the past.

In the latest version of Teamviewer, if you double click a remote computer name the default connection method has changed to "prompt for confirmation". You need to use the second option on the right Remote Control using password instead of clicking the computer name.

When checking the advanced settings in your and your connection partners TeamViewer options, please keep in mind that you need to check Advanced settings for connection to other computers on the remote device and Advanced settings for connection to this computers on your device.

I'm also having these issues past 2 days. Settings are both on full access and none on confirm all. I've also tried to right click the partner i'm connecting to, and click on remote using password instead of prompt for confirmation.

I have downloaded TeamViewer on my Windows 10 laptop to I can remote in and control my Ubuntu 22.04 Intel NUC. I did see that TeamViewer has not add support for Ubuntu 22.04 as of yet so I'm not sure if this is my issue or if I'm missing something.

Another thing is I have had the window pop up showing my Ubuntu screen and I was able to control it as though I was working from the NUC itself. Perfect just like I want. But then I went and unplugged the monitor and keyboard from the NUC because I just want the little NUC off to the side and I want to run in from my windows machine. But after doing this I could not longer control the NUC window. I could still view it but no longer had control of it.

I just installed full TeamViewer 12 on my computer and my Dad's. Not the Windows 10 app store version, which doesn't seem to work very well. I configured him for unattended operation, and I added him as a computer on my TeamViewer account. I was able to successfully initiate a remote control session, but while the remote control was going on, I couldn't figure out how to start a video call. Are they mutually exclusive?

Team Viewer Remote Access & Video at Same Time:
Connect to your dad's computer remotely thorugh Team Viewer using remote control (NOT meeting/presentation). Once connected to your dad's computer, in the Team Viewer pop-out, click the video camera icon. Video windows will appear in the Team Viewer pop-out (you may need to drag this box upward to reposition it so you can see the video windows). Red diagonal lines will be drawn through the video camera icons. Your father will need to click on the video camera to remove the red diagonal line to allow video of him (you cannot do this remotely). Once he does that, your computer will display his video feed. You then need to click on the video camera on your video feed to toggle off the red diagonal line on your video camera icon in the Team Viewer pop-out to allow video of you. Video feeds will then be displayed for each computer. Hope this helps you!

I am trying to use TeamViewer to remote into my Ubuntu-based server, so that I could manage it when I am away. The problem is, every time I try to remote into the server, I get this message displayed:

The problem with this is that I have to be present next to the server to be able to get rid of it and start the TeamViewer session. Is there a way to get rid of it for good, so that I could remote into the server without being next to it? Thanks in advance.I assume this is some stupid privacy or security thing, but I didn't find anything about it online.
