It is an honor and with great pleasure that we invite everyone to participate in the upcoming “Univentricular Heart Symposium”, which will be held on 25th – 27th Sept. 2012 at the Riyadh Marriot Hotel, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Paediatric Cardiology of Prince Sultan Cardiac Center has organized this Symposium to support and understand the depth of and the latest updates on an integrated approach to comprehensive risk assessments,
strategic planning and risk-reduction management techniques for Univentricular Heart Syndrome. Our Paediatric Cardiology Physicians display genuine teamwork by constantly showing their efficiency, professionalism and commitment and who are also proud to be at the forefront of cardiac care in Saudi Arabia. Our Symposium is also organized to meet patients’ needs in preventing and/or reversing cardiovascular disease. Likewise, PSCC is committed to improving the Pediatric Community in Saudi Arabia by enhancing its services whilst embracing the International Standard.
On behalf of the Training & Research Administration of Prince Sultan Cardiac Center, I would like to express my sincerest gratitude to everyone who made this Symposium possible; Col. Mazen F Al Omran, Program Director for his endless support, the members of the Paediatric Cardiology Department and the eminent speakers
and guests (international and regional experts) who will conduct and disseminate their best practices to will share their expertise with us. We would like to welcome all of you to this significant Symposium and we hope that you will actively participate in this event.
This promises to be a most interesting, informative and exciting opportunity for key figures to discuss in a Multi-Disciplinary setting the latest approaches and advances in the management of single ventricle syndrome patients. Our Scientific Program will include amongst other topics; morphology and echo, strategic planning for single ventricle palliation, cardiac intervention and the latest long term outcomes for single ventricle patients.
