It feels like the tech meetup scene in Liverpool has been pretty quiet
since the pandemic. Rather than reboot IoT Liverpool I figured it would
be better to have something more general, and maybe also stray into
not-just-tech topics.
So I give you the DoES Salon!
A monthly talk (probably on the second Wednesday of the month) on an
aspect of tech, art and/or society.
For the first one we'll be looking into all things OpenStreetMap. For
future ones we'll hear from Julian on his carbon-fibre winding software;
or Tom about the Commons... If there's anyone you'd like to nominate,
or a topic you'd like to hear more about, let me know.
Full details, and registration for the first event are at

Cheers,
Adrian.
(For the old hands, I did think about rebooting GeekUp Liverpool, and
this will probably be fairly similar, but it didn't seem all that useful
to reuse that old name)
