I hope you're doing well.
We're really excited to announce the launch of Amplify, a new disabled-led programme supporting Disabled young people aged 16–30 across the Liverpool City Region to build confidence, develop creative skills and create pathways into employment in the arts.
Amplify includes two programmes:
Amplify Young Leaders: A year-long programme for Disabled young people who want to develop their leadership skills and influence the future of the arts. Young Leaders will help shape Tip Tray Theatre and the wider Amplify programme, receive leadership training, gain experience working alongside cultural organisations and build the confidence, knowledge and networks needed to become future leaders in the sector.
Amplify Training Company: A 9 month weekly course for Disabled young people who want to develop their performance skills and gain experience working in the creative industries. Participants will work alongside professional Disabled and underrepresented artists, develop skills in performance, learn about working in the arts and collaboratively create an original performance to showcase to industry professionals and public audiences.
