Rachel transports you to a playful, mesmerising, and unsettling world in
They’ve Got Your Eyes. Featuring a new multi-channel film and sculptures, the exhibition examines the motives driving advanced AI and how fantasies of power shape its development.
ONLY SLIME presents an expanded version of their interactive game-opera,
AFTERLIFE, inviting you to embody characters through motion capture and journey between fantasy computer-game worlds in search of a higher purpose.

Discover Feel My Desire, a text-based game by artist James McColl, centred on the power of words and the personal mythology of the professional wrestling world.
The work encourages players to create their own wrestling character. Each new wrestler is a product of the player’s imagination and desires, embodying what they envision and the feelings of power and pride that come with it.
The game is playable in our new space dedicated to showcasing artist-made games, located on the ground floor near the café.

Join Curator-in-Residence Milia Xin Bi for a guided tour of the group exhibition Can Meeple Escape the Neurophoria? Discover interactive artworks by artists Vytas Jankauskas, Joseph Wilk, and Jan Zuiderveld, and learn
about the themes connecting them.
This tour offers insight into Milia’s curatorial process, which examines the impact of intelligent technologies on our everyday lives and invites us to consider how humans and technology evolve alongside one another. The exhibition
closes on Sunday 26 April, so this is the perfect opportunity to enhance your visit and hear more about the exhibition’s curation before it closes!

Join us for a game of CripShip, a tabletop roleplaying game that unfolds as a collective act of storytelling by artist Joseph Wilk, currently on display as part of the group exhibition
Can Meeple Escape the Neurophoria?
Guided by the exhibition’s curator, Milia Xin Bi, players will work together to solve a case of AI gone wrong, examining larger systems and ideas through collaboration and play.
CripShip opens up a space for dialogue, resistance, and new ways of thinking. No previous experience of roleplaying games is necessary - you just need to bring yourself and your imagination!

impacts of working with advanced digital technologies.
Join us in Manchester on Thursday 30 April for the next event, where we’ll hear from upcoming exhibiting artist Sahjan Kooner in conversation with Chris Daniels from SODA. The discussion will centre on Sahjan’s practice, in
which they use video and installation to create expansive worlds while questioning the technological, social, and racialised structures that shape lived experience.
