I've offered to be the curator of the Liverpool Startup Digest. If you don't know Startup Digest (http://startupdigest.com/) it's a free weekly email listing startup news and events from cities around the world. In the UK, there are digests for London, Manchester, Birmingham, Cardiff and Scotland. There is also one for Dublin.

I find it quite interesting to see what is happening elsewhere in the UK and I thought we should have one for Liverpool too. It will be sent out fortnightly initially.

I know we have the excellent Liverpool Digital Events calendar but this is a different way to share the information.

Please send me any other events that you would like included!

An example digest from New York can be seen here if you're curious: http://us1.campaign-archive2.com/?u=92be899ef5a892c60b4a6cd97&id=e19f350608

Please sign up if you're interested and let other people know too.

Cheers,

Simon

Perhaps it might be worth looking at KIN2KIN also. It's largely a creative type affair, but I am constantly noticing where the arts and the sciences overlap these days.

They very often offer startup training days with Liverpool vision. I got a free one, got loads of useful info I was looking for at the time. That's my top tip for the day... That and a book called " tshirts and suits"...

Thanks, Damian. I've included the Creative Finance Day in this week's Digest.

Any other suggestions are most welcome :)

I just want to add a public 'thank you' to the people who created the content for the digest: Paul Freeman, John McKerrell and especially Neil Morrin. The digest is a community effort so please keep suggesting things for inclusion!

Thanks again,

Simon
