• MCQN Ltd:It's new PCB day! 🎉Not sure if we can class this as a #FreeCADFriday, but it does feature the magnetic pogo-pin connectors that we modelled in @FreeCAD to do the design 😀Initial checks looks good, for the charger, regulator, etc. Need to work out how to program the CH32V203 next.

Thursday 30 October, 7:00pm-9:30pm	Maker Night Our free weekly evening meeting, where you can find out about our space and all the making equipment in it, get a laser cutter or CNC embroidery machine induction, and work on projects from physical computing and electronics to 3d printing, CNC routing and sewing. Just pay for materials used.
Saturday 01 November, 1:00pm-5:00pm	Introduction to 3D Printing workshop on the first Saturday of each month,  with an emphasis on the DoES Liverpool 3D printers. The following topics will be covered: Basic components and operation of a filament 3D printer Filament materials Apps for creating and editing 3D models Optimising designs for print Useful sites for downloading existing models Post-print and complementary processes Tips, tricks and common problems The course assumes general computer skills, and experience with some forms of computer graphics is very helpful. Attendees will require their own laptop and an SD card for transferring files to the 3D printer.
