I was tootling about today and was intrigued to see the <10% thing labelled. Now I completely understand there needs to be a system to know what's full and what's empty but it's a bit hard if the machine is saying "you only have 10% left so replace things". That's like a 10% uplift on cost or something (and yes I know somebody better at maths than me will correct but it's all money eh!)

Just a thought - but others have said, in the context of rising costs and a very difficult commercial environment perhaps prices need to rise.
I'll suggest two things I have in my head
- It's very messy at DoES. I am the very last person to cricitise mess as I have two kids and a partner telling me off about "removing clutter". BUT if we want to get people in then I believe the mess is a blocker
- I can't remember what the other one was to be honest. I'll respond when it pops back into my head

Ah yes - I have it - we've been through this loop before haven't we, but what are comparative costs for innovation and creativity support in LCR
I would (shock, and horror) even go so far as to say that if we amortise the cost of somebody tidying up the space on a weekly basis (or St. Peter help me daily basis), and add that to the cost that DoES charges to folks be a part of the DoES community, then that I would this expect would come in significantly cheaper than any non-taxpayer funded competing space?
Just my 5c
