Forwarding this in case it is of interest (it seems people in our community have had some success with applications to MWRA recently!).

Subject: MRWA OPEN APPLICATION - Repair Initiative
To: Gilmore, Laura <Laura....@merseysidewda.gov.uk>

This year MRWA is aiming to support repair and reuse across the Liverpool City Region. With this in mind we are looking to commission individuals or organisation in the development/expansion of local repair spaces to help support Repair Week 2026 taking place in March.

This initiative can come in any form of shed, cafe or workshop model offering local residents the opportunity to share skills, repair items and keep products in use for longer.  While this project can be applied to a range of equipment and materials, we unfortunately cannot accept projects that have textile or clothing repair as a primary focus.

Individuals or organisations can apply for up to £5,000 to support this project.  The deadline for applications will be 5pm on the 3rd October 2025. Attached you can find both a project brief and application form, but please do reach out to myself with any further questions or if would like to discuss this opportunity further.
