Just an update on the bike pump pledge:

Apparently Aldi will have one for a fiver this week. I'm going to check it out and get it if it seems sturdy enough, if not I'll get one from Clas Ohlson for £15. I'll also get a bike repair kit from Clas Ohlson for a few quid. So by the end of the week we should have both and it'll cost £10-20.

Every Zefal pump I've ever owned or used has been a great pleasure.
Expensive, but worth it. Especially for a pump that is shared.

Thanks to you and Garry for your comments. I decided not to bother with the Aldi one as it sounded crap. I got one from Clas Ohlson and a repair kit so these are all available to use if you're in DoES and get a flat! More info on the wiki page but I'll be asking for a fiver off each of the names on that wiki page please :-)
