This should be of interest to a variety of start-ups and individuals associated with DoES Liverpool. However if it is organised like other Royal Society discussion meetings (which I have attended and, rarely, spoken at) it will focus on the participation of researchers (be they academic, large-scale industry or small-scale start-up) which is a pity because the topic is sufficiently current to go beyond research. Comments on how to link the broad range of activities associated with DoES Liverpool to the Royal Society as an organisation facilitating scientific research welcome.
