Proposed visit by Ukrainian refugees, Tues 9 May (morning)

Hi all,

At the maker night yesterday, I mentioned that a former colleague of mine is bringing a group of Ukrainian refugees, currently living n Poland, over to Liverpool around the time of Eurovision. There's an article about it in the Echo, and he seems to be getting good press coverage.

They have asked if I could do something for a couple of hours on Tue 9 May, say 10:30-12:30. I think it would be great to bring them into DoES and perhaps laser-cut them some specially designed and personalised mementos to take back with them.

The party size will be 12, with the possibility of the press as well. As such, it was suggested that the smaller laser cutter could be wheeled back into the event room, since it would be too much of a squeeze in the laser room.

I need to confirm by the middle of next week, so do let us know of any unforeseen problems, suggestions, etc. TIA
