(For the record, we had no indication before the event that they
turned off the A/C due to the fact that the school was in between
semesters)
In all, we're pretty confident that we had 205 people in attendance,
representing only an 18% dropoff in registration. For a free event
like this, that's a great number. We were a little blindsided by that
fact, though, because we only planned lunch for around 180 people. I
am extremely sorry if anyone didn't get to eat.
Does anyone have any other complaints? We changed a few things this
year in response to feedback received last year. But, we also
recognize a few tweaks that will be necessary to fix a couple of
problems that resulted.
Were you surprised by anything that you saw that worked well for this
conference, and should be replicated in other conferences? (IOW, if
something's not broken, then I want to make sure that we leave it
alone!)

I enjoyed the session selection and also did like the fact that we had
the vendor sessions during the event. I think this gave everybody a
chance to get more of an idea about what some of the vendors had to
offer.
So once again thank you.
