Powerpoint conversion

Hi,

I want to use Documents4j to convert powerpoint files to pdf and old powerpoint formats to the new format pptx. Has anybody developed a module for the conversion of powerpoint? It seems that this is not OOTB possible...

There's none I'd know of.

It should be straight forward analogous to the word or excel converters.

Hi Rafael,

I have submitted a PR https://github.com/documents4j/documents4j/pull/114 for powerpoint conversion.

It was hard work because Powerpoint behaves strange and needs some extra polishment.

I hope, you can review it soon. Do you see any chance to get it into documents4j soon and create a new release?

Background: I need the feature very soon and I want to understand if I have to create an own distribution.
