ABAG COMMON GRANT WORKSHOPS (NEW!)
April 18, 8:30 to 10:30am
ABAG Conference Room, 2 East Read Street, 2nd floor
Over 40 Maryland foundations accept ABAG's Common Grant Application
format. This workshop will include a brief overview of anticipated
funding challenges and opportunities in 2007, a step-by-step review of
the format, tips and suggestions for writing competitive proposals,
and a copy of ABAG's latest Member Directory. The format was developed
by a working group of ABAG members representing various funders-large
and small, corporate, family, and private foundations. Revisions made
in 2003 reflect feedback from members, other common grant applications
and input from the nonprofit community. The format also includes
questions specifically for capital campaign requests. This workshop is
for nonprofit representatives. Cost: $50 per participant (includes
ABAG's Member Directory, a $25 value) Advance payment is appreciated,
check and cash accepted. Registration will begin at 8:30 and the
workshop will begin at 9:00 a.m. http://www.abagmd.org/calendar2445/calendar_show.htm?doc_id=449384
