This Thursday features a docu on Jon Gnarr, current mayor and former stand-up comedian of Reykjavik. He is the leader of the Best Party, which won the elections only six months after its establishment (this also coincided with Iceland’s tumultuous period following the financial crises). During his inaugural speech, he calmed dissenters by saying "No one has to be afraid of the Best Party because it is the best party. If it wasn’t, it would be called the ‘Worst Party’ or the ‘Bad Party’. We would never work with a party like that.”

Also, Gnarr dresses in drag for Pride. He seems like a cool cat.
 

Since this isnt a nature documentary, I call upon the brain trust to see if they might be able to find some naturalistic shorts to screen before we get all political.

Lastly, and most importantly: any ideas on how to get our hands on some sweet provisions?
