ReST format files and extra newlines

Trying out Kevin D's newest commit (r110)...and when I save a document, it seems to put an extra 2 newlines after each line. This totally jacks up ReST formatting of course.
Anyone else seeing this? (Is anyone else even testing Docudo?) I don't see anything in Kevin's changes that would cause this, but you never know.
I'm on Windows for the moment, could this have something to do with it? Do we need to normalize line breaks somehow to preserve cross-platform compatibility?
If I can get at least one other person to verify this, I'll open a trac ticket...
