Hi,

Before all, thanks and congratulations for the work you are developing
here.
I'm having a problem with icon display. When I use a program from
playonlinux, for example Ms Word 2007 or PDF Xchange, in Docky it
shows an icon and name corresponding to Playonlinux and not an icon
corresponding to the program I'm using. Is There a way to correct
this? I'm using Ubuntu 10.04 32bit.
Other question: Is there any file where I can find where the icons
that Docky uses are located in order to change them?

Thanks in advance

Docky uses the icons supplied by your icon theme. That can be changed
with gnome-appearance-properties (commonly labeled "Appearance"). They
are stored in /usr/share/icons/YOURICONTHEMEHERE Things that are not
in your icon theme however go a bit wild as they fall back on /usr/
share/icons/hicolor or /usr/share/icons/gnome or even /usr/share/
pixmaps
That is based on the application, unfortunately.

I think the idea of bringing the icons from the scalable ones from the
theme is a great idea and the fact that the windows of the same
program are represented in docky by the same icon too, saves a great
deal of space and works great in docky.
Maybe we can get a workaround. When using the gnome-panel window
selector the icon that appears is the correct one, where are they
getting this icon from? maybe the solution lies here, what you think?

We get the icons from the .desktop file associated with the
application. Since this is a Windows application and I have no idea
how PlayOnLinux works, it's probably not supplying a desktop file or
icon in a way that Docky can recognize it.

Please file a bug so we can track this problem.

Most likely PlayOnLinux works similar to Wine, which is a bit
difficult for us to properly deal with (but seems to more or less
work). We can look into it.

Please do as Robert said and file a bug, and please also post the .desktop file associated with Play On Linux office 2007.  Without the .desktop file it's impossible for us to determine what's going on.
