Is it possible to offset a dock some pixels away from the bottom (or any edge) of the screen ?

Is there a way to add an offset value in some configuration file so that a dock can be offseted (for example 20pixels) away from the bottom (or any edge) of the screen ?
I use Linux Mint-14 with Cinnamon and I like my task-bar at the bottom of the screen. I would like to put a dock on the bottom of the screen too just above this task-bar that is about 24 pixels big. Currently the dock is partly hidden by the task bar.
I found an offest option on cairo-dock but I couldn't find anything like this in docky.
