The interface has been cleaned up a bit since those--instead of the
triple columns you see in those videos, there is now a single column,
with the use of a default shown by colored text. Click or tab on it,
and the default slides aside for your own entry.
The calcPops are also improved significantly--you can even use simple
math in them, including parenthesis. When used, they also use color
on the calculated value. (for example, in a calcPop, you can enter
the YTD values for income, or tax, or whatever, for the most recent
month, for six months earlier, and the intervening December [if
needed], and it calculates the six month value for the means test.
Or, if he got seven paychecks of $98.50 with $7.02 SS tax and $2.50
income tax, you could put "7*98.50" in for the income, and
"7*(7.02*2.50)" for the taxes.
OK, in many ways, the program is a monument to my own laziness :)
Anyway, I'm trying to record another video this week with some of the
newer features. They take so much longer than one would expect . . .
