As of last night, dochawk's Bankruptcy Program is running on our
internal network and VPN.

We have successfully manipulated the same file open on two macs at
once, but don't recommend this quite yet:the same server file is
opened by two separate instances of sqlite, and there seems to be a
caching/delayed write issue. A new debt or asset forces a write and
is successfully read when visited from another machine, but a change
seems "open to interpretation" by sqlite. I suspect this also means
that an earlier change could overwrite a later change.

The big change that allowed this is a very simple config file in the
user's home directory. This allows a per-user specification of where
to find the files--so that the assistant's can point to the attorney's
machine, for example, and share the client files and the abbreviation
files (or, for the assistant to keep a separate abbreviation file).

I'm trying to switch to postgresql today, which will allow unlimited
simultaneous access.

And I could use a volunteer in the next few days to try accessing
files on my server from my mac.
